A friend of mine and I were talking the other day about our blogs. I find it funny that I will start to tell her a story and then say, “never mind, you will read about it on the blog”. She laughed the last time I said this and admitted that she rarely gets through a full post on my site. Her excuse? She says I write full length feature films. She stated that my posts leave nothing unsaid. They leave nothing to the imagination because I tend to paint a very detailed description. This is my personality in real life too. Ask my husband and he will tell you that when I tell a story I will tell every little detail. If I tell the story more than once, you will be hard pressed to hear it the same way twice; I like to switch things up and maybe even embellish a little. My friend went on to say that she likes to consider her posts commercials that highlight what she and her family “offer”; much like product or service commercials. In real life she too, is like this. She gives you the facts, the nuts and bolts; no fluff. I like fluff.
There are a lot of sites in my reader. Each one has a different personality. Some are like mine and provide a full length film, but don’t post as often. Some are commercials like my friend but post more frequently. Others are very clever and provide trailers that tease me to come back for more of the film. Those are the ones that leave you wanting more and keep you coming back.
As they say, it takes all kinds. So what kind are you?

I’m obnoxious.
(Sorry, it’s Nemo month at my house and I couldn’t resist.)
But really, I’m just obnoxious.

I guess I am like the Saturday afternoon theaters my father speaks of when he was a kid: a few shorts, a serial, a cartoon or two, and a feature length move.
Something for everyone!

This is a tough one; I love Charlie’s answer. I try to avoid long posts, but sometimes the story just can’t be told quickly. When people are loyal enough to come back after those long ones, I try to reward them with a shorty

very often i am a silent film. Photos have taken over my blog. I never planned for that to happen, but I am cool with it.

I think it depends on my mood, the topic and how much time I have. I can be very wordy sometimes and very brief at others.
You’re right, it takes all kinds!

I am with Mrs.4444- I tell it how I feel I have to tell. In hindsight, sometimes, it is a bit too lengthy, the next post I try and I reward with fluff, short sentences, small words, and pictures- that’s the way my attention span goes!
