We ants are rich, indeed. No…not the kind of rich that affords luxuries like European sports cars and leisurely weekends in Barbados. We possess the kind of wealth that comes from having breath to fill our lungs, family members that love us and a community (The Hill) that supports each other in our joys and struggles. It is the kind of wealth that even millionaires long for. We have it.
I am coming to you all, with a request to look at all that you do have, appreciate it and find it in your hearts to help two little boys who are not so fortunate. I’m sure that most of you read my last post on Scott Terrill. He was a featured Supernanny family, this season. Scotts’ life came to an abrupt halt on July 4th, when the stress of life and the pain of living, overtook his will to live. It is a sad event that left his two small sons fatherless and in a lot of emotional pain. While being without a father is not uncommon, here in our country, having him taken in such a manner will create much turmoil for the young boys.
All that I am asking is that you visit the Womb At The Inn(sane) and if it is financially feesible for you, to donate a small monetary gift to Scott’s boys. I will also put a button on my Cre8Buzz profile page. I have enlisted Jo Frost’s help, as well as some of the other Supernanny families, in this endeavor. My hope is that we, as a community can offer some support to these boys, whether it be to buy clothes, food or a small trust fund for their fututre. No, my family is not financially well off. We live pay check to pay check. We are doing whatever we can to help Lane and Tate, because there is always something that we can do, even if it is minute in the grand scheme of things. I thank you, fellow Ant Hill dwellers, in advance, for your kindness and generosity. Please continue to pray for the Terrill family as they lay their father to rest today.
