Before I met my husband Brad, I did a lot of driving.  I drove because I was single and had no chauffeur to drive me, but also because I moved around a lot.  Moving took a lot of effort, but I enjoyed seeing new places and meeting new faces.  I recall one move from Raleigh to Hartford.  Not really a bad move with a stop to stay with my mom in DC.  The stop gave me the opportunity to visit and get some much needed rest to go again in the morning.  I remember laying down to go to sleep and when I closed my eyes all I saw was  lit highway signs flying by as if I were still on the highway.  It was a little nauseating, but I finally went to sleep; happy to know I would be driving in the day rather than night on the last leg of the trip.

Once I met and married Brad, my gypsy blood did not stop us from moving.  However, marriage provided me  a built in driver.  I don’t think Brad thinks I am a bad driver, it just seems he prefers to be the one behind the wheel.  This can be a little disconcerting for someone like me that likes to be in control but I manage by pressing my feet on the floor board and using the dashboard as a drum set to get my points across.

I had a dream the other night that I was driving but with a different steering wheel.  The images of my dream were those of profile pages on cre8Buzz.  I also found myself driving around Twitter.  Much like the images of street signs flying by, I diagnosed my symptom a cause of a lot of time driving. It takes some effort, but much like moving around the country, I enjoy driving and meeting new faces and seeing new places.

What are some signs you see in your life that indicate you are addicted to the Buzz?

    Addiction Sign:

After logging in to the server at work, I pull up the Buzz and Hill before I log in to Outlook.

Yep - first place I come in the morning…..last place at night, quickly followed by Twitter and Plurk.
    Coming here a billion+ times a day….
Starting work on the computer….then being distracted by that ‘you have a new comment’ message…and an hour slips by…
    It’s hopeless really…

Yeah, I used to check my email for messages from “real” people I know- now, apparently I prefer the ones in the computer!

oh my gosh! I’m so glad I’m not alone!! I was in the vet’s waiting room with Gidget a about a month ago when this lady came in and we started chatting about her Chihuahuas which she had pics of and were so much cuter than mine… well she was so nice that the first thought to pop in to my head was to send her a “friend request!” *eye roll* Next this novel falls out of her purse and what do you know? It’s one that I’d read and really liked so I wanted to rate her an 8. No lie. I kinda thought I was a little nuts myself. Then there’s that little thing you mentioned about a week ago…talking about our Buzz friends with our spouses - our “imaginary friends”. That cracked me up!
