One of the funniest moments as a mom that I can ever recall is when my daughter was 4 years old. She was trying to sneak some gum when I caught her and told her,

“oooohhh, you’re busted!” (smiling)

She replied to me in a 30 something tone of voice,

“You know what busted means?”

I said “What does it mean honey?”

She said plainly,

“Basically, you’re screwed.”

So, so cute. I just posted (on my buzz page) the video of that adorable 3-year-old who told her mom she’d “Kick his a$$” if a monster came to their house. (The video made the rounds on tv a few months back; one of my faves.)

Nothing like a kid who tells it like it is!

LOL!! Gotta love it - kids just don’t pull punches - how refreshing! I love the picture!
Thanks for starting my day with a huge grin!

At least you stopped there and didn’t ask her what that means…

They catch on quickly don’t they. Little Man recently told me he wanted to invite Santa to his 3rd birthday party in June.
