I know most of you probably aren’t near as obsessed with this as am I. I have to say though that except for the year Carri Underwood won, i have never cared much who won American Idol. I always watch it, don’t get me wrong, but i never cared who won. I was cool either way.
This year I CARE lol. So far to the tune of 200 text votes for David Cook. ( I only voted for Carri 3 times) Normally younger men don’t impress me, but lord that one is sooooooo talented!! Yes I mean his music, but he’s not hard to look at either.
The funny thing is I couldn’t stand him when the show started this year. He totally won me over! So tommorrow night..when it’s on and the winner is announced, if it’s that other david…….if you hear a scream come from Texas…….don’t worry……….i’ll get over it ……eventually.

In my mommy crowd we don’t talk about A.I. However, I have loved this season and David Cook is my boy!
I haven’t been this excited to watch the show in so long, and I agree with your feelings regarding David in the beginning, but he won me over too. (I think it was around the “Billie Jean” time.)
So if it goes the other way, you’ll hear the echoes of screams coming from Oregon as well.

I’ll be horribly disappointed if he isn’t the winner - and I do like David A….just not now, not this year!

OMG, The Billie Jean song!!! Was that not outrageous??? I sat there the whole freakin song going ” OMG, OMG” I think i may have even drooled on myself a little lol. (That happens when you can’t close your mouth.) And last week he just blew me away again.

I only got ‘hooked’ on Idol one year, while I was recovering from knee surgery. Although, I do still like to tune in for the tryouts (when I remember), because they are SO freakin’ funny!
