A Mother’s Journey: 2007 Pulitzer Prize Feature Photography
Heart-rending, and very upsetting, but also very poignant.
Very emotional images, so if you may be upset please do not watch.

Very poignant and powerful - pictures truly do say much more than words.

Very moving essay. Thank you for sharing the struggles, joy, and sadness of those afflicted. They are in my prayers.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. These photos say so much more…

I sent this to my husband (in the other room). Through tears, he asked, “Why did you SEND this to me!?” As an amazing dad, it moved him, too. Thanks for passing it on.

Lots of tears… It’s one thing to watch my grandma fading; quite another to imagine the ache of this mother’s heart.

I looked at the pictures and then my son asked to see it. We looked at them together. My son was tearing up. I don’t think that kids realize that there are children who suffer like this and pass away so young. He was moved as was I. What a brave boy and a brave mother to share her story with the world. I am going to hug my children now, and thank God for them. Thank you, so much, for sharing that.
