Steve Jobs listened to his customer base and offered a $100 credit rebate to early iPhone adopters. Too little to late, or just right?

I think it's just right. But personally I the iPhone was/has been well worth the $600.00 it cost me to get it. I would've been fine without a refund. However, I begged my wife everyday for a month and finally got it a month or so after release. A couple of weeks later Apple drops the price. So if anything the rebate made my wife feel better.
I havent bitten the bullet yet. Usually I'm an early adopter of Apple stuff, but I'm holding out for second generation on the iPhone and AppleTV
Bit that bullet yet? After the iPhone 3G was released, I sold my original 8GB for some nice change and upgraded pretty much free. Good timing, because it's only a matter of time before this one is unlocked too. The AppleTV integration is pretty sweet too.
