1) how do you get invites to send to friends? Or are we "on hold" sort of for that?

2)Contact Me - I see this on other peoples profiles, but it doesn't show up on mine.. is this because it's mine and I just don't see it?

oh, oh.. and how come there is red around my avatar (and a few others).. and blue around others?
