I have a live, human kid, but before he came along, I had four beautiful dogs who were my constant companions when I wasn't working. Today is their birthday! Well, not really. Four dog birthdays is a lot to remember, and some of the actual dates are unknown to us, so we celebrate Dog Birth Day on October 11th every year. I know, I know... it's after midnight and technically the 12th, but it's been a busy day.

Hehe. We celebrate all of our kitties birthdays still. Simba is May 19th, Tiger is October 31 (yes, he's an orange cat with a Halloween birthday. His litter mate, now deceased, was black) and Eleanor is April 15th.

They may be furry, but they're still my children. lol
