Are you up for a new craft this year? What?

I am always up for a new craft! This year I am going to go back to precious metal clay - I have some of the syringe clay still - would like to get creative with that.

And - my wish may come true this spring - if my dear hubby finishes my studio enough to use - I'm gonna get that torch and get into making beads - my dream!

I think I'd like to try painting china pieces. I have a really old kiln and some china blanks. My daughter worked with someone who's mother used to do it. The mother was retiring and sold all her leftover stuff to my daughter. Now its all at my house! lol Sooo I should give it a try. But the dyes are a bit scary. From what I've read in the literature that came along with all the stuff you nearly need to be a chemist to mix colors. I thought it would be like mixing oil paints but noooo! They have some measurements and formulas that the average person doesn't think about on any given day! lol

Thanks Buzz, you always have good questions. I never know what direction my life will lead me.

I think I've tried everything (but fire, I think I've mentioned that before).

Any suggestions?
