Can you crochet? You could make some terrific rugs out of the body of the T-shirt if you cut strips crossways so the strip stays in a loop. Looping the strips into a continuous "string" then start crocheting!

Just a note of caution on crocheting rugs from t-shirts. I've tried it. They tend to turn up around the edges unless you make the last two rows quite loose. Donna

You could make small pillows out of old t-shirts. They come out really soft and make a nice comfort sort of pillow or a small head pillow.
