What did you have in mind? I could post an introspective, 3-part series of my belly button, but I'm holding off on that until Sweeps week at my blog.
Here, I'll ask something: Do you consider yourself funny in real life? If so, do you consider yourself funnier in print or in person?
Oh, wow. That last guy had a good question. He seems both smart AND sexy.
I'd say I consider myself funnier in print, but that's just because time is not important. In real life, I come up with something funny and say it, but in print, I can come up with six jokes over one hour and work them into one single paragraph (not this one, try this month's issue of Cosmopolitan).
That said, I think my conversations are hilarious. It's why I talk to myself so much: I never know what I'm going to say next!
I disagree.
Oh, much funnier in print than in real life, well I think so anyhow :O)
My comic timing has been screwed since getting MS, but with writing, there's never a forgotten word or longggggggggggggggggg pause whilst the brain tries to find the word you knowbut canot get out.....
C'est la vie :O)
It's hard for me to say anything without appearing conceited. People tell me I'm funny both in both print and real life, but they could be lying to me and talking about me behind my back. I'm not sure I can choose where I'm funnier...maybe I'm not funny. Ever. Anywhere. Oh no...
I thought I was funny in real life, until I watched the footage of our show. It wasn't fuuny at all, just pitiful. So I'd have to say writing. Although, my husband NEVER laughs at my stuff. Maybe I'm not funny in either sense. Shit. Now I'm gonna have to find a new angle. Anyone like girls gone wild? Maybe I'll start Moms gone wild. Cuz saggy boobs and stretch marks are the new SEXY!!!
I'm going to say funnier in real life. Writing is fun but it's a lot of work. It is so much easier to go out on a limb when talking rather than writing. Of course it's easier to fall off too.
I agree with you BrentD
