It's hard to believe that we are coming to the end of Novemeber 2007....sheesh, where does the time fly to?
My business coach, with Buffini & Co., has given me an assignment to start making my 2008 Plans and Projections! "In writing".... This is a hefty assignment. Since this is my first year with a business coach, I am still having trouble "picking" a realistic number for projected income next year? And my 2007 income is down from 2006 just because of our sloooowwww market.
Any thought and comments about how you make plans and projections for yourself and your real estate business?
One trainer I know of says not to pick an income, believe it or not, but focus on all the work streams, methods, areas you want to really work in, to bring in the income. How about that?
Julia, I like that very much. I think if you really focus on the productive parts - networking, etc. I think that the money will follow. I have an issue with picking a dollar figure. Yes, I have one in mind. But it isn't the holy grail that some portray it to be.
I agree, I focus on my methods and networking - yet I need to analyze my 2007 income and expense. Look and find errors and winners for my 2008 planning. I have a hard time "picking" the number for the income, but make sure I watch the expenses.
Planning for 08, nah, I think I'll just wing it :)
Funny I just wrote a post on this yesterday.
Neal - You have a much larger following/subscription on your blogs & you got many more comments. But, hey - Great Minds Think Alike. I am a habitual planner.
