Your favorite writing books

It makes me sad every time I see this barren forum in the heart of non-fiction territory.

So here's a discussion starter:

Do you ever read books about writing to kick-start your writing process? What are some of your favorites?

I've always been a huge fan of "Writing Down the Bones" by Natalie Goldberg ("Wild Mind" too) - the idea of writing as a practice and meditation, not just a means to an end, has always appealed to me. Her writing exercise suggestions are some of the best around.

And you?

How about Stephen King's "On Writing"? It's the only book I know that is:

Full of great advice on reading; Very enjoyable to read; Inspirational in terms of how he overcame his injuries and other hurdles.

There are other books I've read on the subject, but this is my favourite.
