Ever viewed an image and been uncertain on what to say in way of comment? I have, so I thought it may be useful if we could share tips about critiquing. It is through critiquing, in my opinion, that we will improve as photographers. So any pointers add them to this thread. Or tell us what aspect you would like viewers to comment on.
Good idea!

I recently joined a photography forum - New School of Photography - because a friend of mine was there. The site is for all levels of photographers and the way the forum is laid out and the content there is really great. There is a "Sharing" thread, a "Critique" thread, and many more. The forum component is freeware and it flows really well. It would be nice to see this forum take shape like that one. Here is the link:
I use the critique forum of photo.net from time to time. http://photo.net/bboard/forum?topic_id=1481
A great site for entering your photos for critique is http://www.digapixblog.com You might find it interesting reading even if you don't submit images to the site.
I'm always open to constructive criticism.
I agree. "Constructive" is always good.
